Rugby Soccer

Today I was writing about my made up event for 2018 Commonwealth games.
Here is my writing.

Rugby Soccer was invented by Matiu in 2014. He had an idea when he had to come up with a game to be brought up to be in the 2018 Commonwealth. To win this game you need to kick the rugby ball in to the soccer goal.

The equipment you need is Rugby boots, Soccer top and shorts, shin pads and shoulder pads. The venue you need is a soccer field 200 meter's long, um and a soccer goal.

This is an Individual event. There are 5 competitors competing in that game. The positions they play in is Forward,Wing,Hookah,First 5,Prop, Defence, Attack and goalie.

Commonwealth Report

We have been learning to write report about a Commonwealth Sport. Here is my report about table tennis.

What is Table Tennis?
Table Tennis is a game that you can play as a pair or single. In table tennis you use a Table tennis bat to hit the small little Ping Pong ball and go over a little fence in the middle of the table.

What rules?
The upper surface of the table, known as the playing surface, shall be rectangular, 2.74m long and 1.525m wide, and shall lie in a horizontal plane 76cm above the floor.

What equipment do you need?
First of all, you'll need a bat of your own. Sure, you can always borrow other people's, but it's best to have your own personal ping-pong paddle.

What is Culture?

We have been learning about culture. Mrs Jacobson read us some information about culture and we wrote down what we heard about.
Here are my paragraphs.

Culture is different to other places. It is what we believe, think and do. Countries have different cultures, they could be Maori, Samoan, French and other cultures in a country. Culture is where you come from. I come from New Zealand and I am Maori.
In Japan the older women wear a traditional dress called the Kimono.
